The Regulatory Policy Committee (RPC) was pleased to host Justin Madders MP, the Minister for Employment Rights, Competition and Markets at the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), at a recent committee meeting.

During the meeting, the Minister expressed his appreciation for the RPC’s crucial role in ensuring that government decisions are evidence-based and take into account a wide range of potential impacts.

He voiced his support for the RPC’s work in improving the quality of government policy-making and acknowledged the importance of the Better Regulation Framework.

This framework is key in helping the government assess the impact of regulatory decisions on its broader goal of fostering economic growth. Mr Madders also shared his enthusiasm for working closely with the committee to further enhance the Framework.
